WWE’s Liv Morgan Joins Samuel L. Jackson & Uma Thurman in The Kill Room

The upcoming thriller movie The Kill Room continues to expand its cast. Per Deadline, WWE Superstar Liv Morgan has boarded the cast with the movie marking her feature film debut. The cast also includes reuniting Pulp Fiction Stars Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman, as well as Joe Manganiello (Zack Snyder’s Justice League), Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Larry Pine (The French Dispatch), Dree Hemingway (Starlet), and Leah McSweeney (The Real Housewives of New York City). The project comes from Yale Entertainment.

Nicol Paone directs The Kill Room using a screenplay by Jonathan Jacobson. It’s not yet clear who Morgan will be playing in the movie. You can read a synopsis for the movie below.

The film centers on hitman Reggie (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman) and their money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight Avant-Garde sensation, forcing the dealer to play the art world against the underworld. Morgan will play an art purist who bemoans the vapidness of art dealers.

Jordan Yale Levine and Yale Productions partners Jordan Beckerman and Jon Keeyes are producing alongside Anne Clements of Idiot Savant Pictures, Paone, Thurman, Dannielle Thomas, and Jason Weinberg of Untitled Entertainment, as well as William Rosenfeld of Such Content and Bill Kenwright of BK Studios. The Kill Room Reunites Two Stars of Pulp Fiction

A Band Apart

One aspect of the movie’s cast that will have the attention of many is that it reunites two of the biggest stars of the legendary Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction. Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson both shined in that movie, though they did not actually have any scenes together. Perhaps they’ll be able to share the screen in The Kill Room with several other excellent cast members on board to bring the thriller to life.

“The combination of Uma and Sam for this project is a dream come true. We are certain that Nicol is going to deliver a special film, and one that strikes the perfect balance between dark humor and edge-of-your-seat thrills,” the producers said of the film’s cast when they were first announced.

Director Nicol Paone added, “Getting to make The Kill Room — an already incredible script — with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson is beyond my wildest dreams. Every moment they’re onscreen, they are both enviable and eye-catching. I am eternally grateful to both of them for saying yes, and I am thrilled to bring this to life alongside Anne Clements and Yale Productions.”
