Transformers TV Channel Set to Roll Out on Pluto TV

Autobots, transform and roll out! Transformers is coming to the free streaming platform, Pluto TV. The free streaming service is set to launch Transformers T.V. into its broad array of programming starting June 13th. Transformers already airs on Pluto T.V. through a few of its other channels, but Transformers super-fans will rejoice as this channel will bring the best of the series all day, every day. Transformers Prime, Robots in Disguise, The Unicron Trilogy, and of many more.

In a press release, Pluto TV elaborated on the program, having this to say: “Welcome into the world of Transformers TV, a world where everything is…More Than Meets the Eye. A universe where shape-shifting, sentient robots in disguise hide in plain sight, and battle with the future of their world – and ours – at stake. Transformers TV will include series such as Transformers: Cyberverse, Transformers: Prime, Transformers: Robots in Disguise and many more all day, every day.”

Transformers TV will undoubtedly be one of the streamer’s more popular channels when it officially goes live. The streaming service, in which more content is unlockable if you enter some information about yourself, already houses dozens of popular television shows streaming on their own channels. Star Trek, Survivor, C.S.I., NFL, Degrassi, Hell’s Kitchen, Doctor Who, and of course, everyone’s likely favorite: Mystery Science Theater 3000.

The move comes as no surprise when you look at what a property like Transformers brings to the table. It is one of the most profitable brands in Hollywood across all media. Additionally, ad campaigns for Nickelodeon’s new show, Transformers Earthspark will be ramping up all the while the new Legacy, and Transformers 1986 Studio Series toy offerings are well underway.

Not to mention the new movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was pushed back to 2023. Media campaigns for that project will be starting soon to tie everything together. The much anticipated follow-up to Bumblebee was moved into the 2023 spot last year as part of a massive shuffling of film projects. As if one would need more? IDW, the property’s comic book writer has launched its final few series and mini-series before they lose the publication rights at the end of this year. Transformers: Last Bot Standing, Transformers: Wars End, and Transformers: Shattered Glass all join the main lines of Transformers and Beast Wars.

Indeed, as if the franchise wasn’t already gaining steam, the Pluto TV offering will certainly do its part to help the already popular franchise along. Several of the voice actors from the media past have gone on and still continue work to this day, some of them almost 40 years later. Peter Cullen still voices Optimus Prime, and Corey Burton, the voice of Shockwave from Generation One recently voice Cad Bane in Disney +’s The Book of Boba Fett. David Kaye, who voiced Megatron in Transformers: Beast Wars is also still incredibly popular as are many others. If you are a fan, you can’t miss June 13th, when Pluto TV becomes more than meets the eye!
