Stranger Things is coming to an end with its fifth season, and that means the internet is buzzing with theories of how the saga may reach its conclusion. Millie Bobby Brown is currently ready to make her second appearance as Enola Holmes, but that doesn’t mean she can avoid being asked for her opinion on the many fan theories about the way Stranger Things will all pan out. While speaking to ET, Brown was asked about the biggest theory that fan-favorite Eddie Munson will be back in the fifth season as Vecna’s new puppet. She responded to that by saying:
“I mean, it’s a good fan theory.”
While the actress would not go into any further details about what could happen in season 5, she was happy to look into the past few seasons and the many deaths that have befallen some popular characters in that time.

“I loved Billy. I loved Dacre Montgomery, who was killed off in season 3. I had a really good relationship with him, so for me, it was really hard to let go of that. And the same thing with Papa in this season. I had a really good relationship with Papa. I had a really good relationship with Matthew, and to let him go was really hard.”
When it comes to the future of Stranger Things, Brown admitted that she is in the dark as much as anyone about where the final season will go, so while most of those involved in big movies and TV shows have to be careful what they say, she said that she simply doesn’t know anything that could let the cat out of the bag. She continued:
“I really don’t know. People say, ‘Oh, you can’t say too much, like don’t spoil it.’ I’m like, ‘Oh no, I wish I could spoil it for you, I don’t know anything.’ They don’t tell me anything. You could go through my phone right now. They never text me. They never tell me anything, because they know that I talk to people like you, and they know that I’m gonna spill the deets.”
Will There Be New Characters In Stranger Things Season 5?
Although every season of Stranger Things has added a number of new characters, it looks like the final season will be concentrating on the core characters only, with the Duffer Brothers having explained previously that they will not be adding any major new characters to the story. Matt Duffer said:
“And the same was true with Sadie and Maya. And it’s not like the actors don’t know [either]. They all know that they’re coming into a cast people love, and you’re introducing a new element. And you’ve seen it on shows go wrong, and so they’re all nervous, but like Ross said, with those particular three, and Dacre [Mongomery] as well, who played Billy, it was like, because these actors are amazing it’s just really fun. I just like shaking it up, so we shake it up by changing the plot or adding in a new monster. We’re doing our best to resist [adding new characters] for Season 5. We’re trying not to do that so we can focus on the OG characters, I guess.”
The first four seasons of Stranger Things are streaming now on Netflix.
