Mila Kunis Cries Foul on That ’90s Show Spoiler

It has been previously revealed that most of the original cast from That ’70s Show will be back to reprise their roles for the Netflix sequel series That ’90s Show, but it remains to be seen what is happening in the lives of all of these characters in the 1990s. Among those returning is Mila Kunis as Jackie alongside her real-life husband Ashton Kutcher as Kelso. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will be starring as Red and Kitty Forman while other returning stars include Topher Grace as Eric, Wilmer Valderrama as Fez, and Laura Prepon as Donna.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kunis spoke about her return on the series, though she also dropped a significant spoiler while sharing her thoughts on what’s in store for Jackie. When we last saw her, Jackie had seemingly broken up with Kelso for good upon discovering Fez to be the one she wanted to be with. As will be revealed in That ’90s Show (SPOILER ALERT), Jackie and Fez apparently didn’t work out. Kunis says that Jackie has since gotten back with Kelso, and even though she’s married to Kutcher in real life, Kunis feels Jackie should have stuck with Fez.

“My husband and I are together in [the new show], which is weird ’cause we shouldn’t have been. You know what, I called B.S. I was like, ‘My character would be with Fez.’ I think that I ended up with Wilmer [Valderrama]’s character. And I was like, ‘Why are you and I together?’ And also, he was married when ’70s ended, to Shannon Elizabeth’s character, I think. Now we’re like 20 years — no, 16 years later, whatever it is, and now we’re married with a kid. And I was like, ‘I don’t know about this one.'”

Kunis may have preferred to see Jackie married to Fez, but at the end of the day, she’s still satisfied with That ’90s Show. She recommends the series to fans of That ’70s Show, confident that people who appreciated the original series will love the spinoff.

“Anyone who has ever watched or loved That ’70s Show will be really happy with it.”

That ’90s Show Brings Back Red and Kitty Forman

Kunis and most of the other main stars of That ’70s Show will be featured in special appearances, though Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will be main stars of the series. Also starring will be an ensemble cast of youths, much in the way That ’70s Show had done with the original cast. Callie Haverda leads the new cast as Leia Forman, the daughter of Grace’s Eric and Prepon’s Donna, who spends the summer with her grandparents where she hangs out with the locals she meets in Point Place, Wisconsin.

That ’90s Show wrapped filming in July, but a premiere date has not yet been set at Netflix at this time. Let’s hope a date comes along with a trailer in the near future.
