Marvel’s Next Avengers Movie Titles Could Have Been Revealed by Disney Trademark Filings

Kevin Feige has teased that the next big MCU saga has already begun, and he is almost ready to lay out the roadmap of where Phase 4 and beyond are leading. However, he may have been beaten to the punch after a number of new trademarks registered by Disney have come to light that seem to reveal the titles of the next two Avengers movies, along with Captain America 4, the Thunderbolts and the collective title of the Multiverse Saga.

Having delivered what appeared to be an unparalleled feat with Avengers Endgame, Kevin Feige has not allowed the MCU to end its run of connected movies there. It is now clear that the franchise is going to not only continue to be the largest set of interconnected movies ever, but will be almost impossible to surpass with a new Marvel Saga now taking over, meaning there are still many more years of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and TV shows to come.

In a series of uncovered trademarks, Disney have filed for a handful of titles seemingly for their upcoming Marvel releases. The trademarks have been filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and include Thunderbolts, which was recently revealed to be one of the upcoming movies on Marvel’s radar, Captain America: New World Order, which is assumed to be Anthony Mackie’s debut movie as the new owner of the shield, and two Avengers titles, Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

The MCU’s Multiverse Saga Seems To Be Coming Together

While there have been a number of complaints about Phase 4 of the MCU being disjointed and not like Phase 3’s coherent storytelling, that is mainly down to this phase being a transition focusing on how each character is coping with the fallout of Avengers: Endgame. Now though it looks like are about to find out exactly what is coming next for the MCU, and it started with Disney+ series Loki.

In the finale of Loki, the God of Mischief found himself coming face to face with He Who Remains, a benevolent version of Jonathan Majors’ character, Kang the Conqueror, whom was seemingly responsible for keeping the Sacred Timeline in check. However, when He Who Remains is killed by Sylvie, the first signs of the multiverse breaking out are seen.

While Marvel Studios have been gradually bringing various aspects of the multiverse into play through Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and next year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will see the return of Jonathan Majors as another version of Kang, although it is now becoming clear that this will not be Kang in his most powerful form and will act more like another tease for what is to come.

With Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty sounding very much like the two part event Infinity War and Endgame became, it is clear that Kang is going to be built up over the coming years similar to Thanos. How much detail linked to this Kevin Feige will reveal during San Diego Comic-Con is yet to be revealed, but it will be more likely that we will have to wait until Disney’s D23 Expo in September to get the biggest reveals.
