Enola Holmes 2 Clip Finds the Detective Waltzing Her Way Through Another Mystery

Enola Holmes waltzes back onto Netflix in the latest clip from the upcoming sequel, Enola Holmes 2. Released via the official Twitter account for Netflix, the footage finds Millie Bobby Brown back as the fourth-wall-breaking title character, who is in need of some dance lessons courtesy of her old friend Viscount Tewkesbury, played once again by Louis Partridge. Check out the latest clip from Enola Holmes 2 below.

The clip once again ignites the chemistry between Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge, a natural, effortless chemistry that quickly sparked in the first Enola Holmes outing back in 2020.

Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill), and opens her own agency — only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems. Resigned to accept the cold realities of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: to find her missing sister.

But this case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola must call upon the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel her mystery. The game, it seems, has found its feet again!

Directed by Harry Bradbeer from a screenplay by Jack Thorne, Enola Holmes 2 finds Millie Bobby Brown once again taking the lead, supported by a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Sam Claflin as Mycroft, Helena Bonham Carter as their mother, Eudoria, Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury, and Adeel Akhtar as Lestrade as well as Susie Wokoma, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Gabriel Tierney, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Serranna Su-Ling Bliss, and Róisín Monaghan.

Henry Cavill Returns as Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes 2

Alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Enola Holes 2 will see the return of Henry Cavill as the more famous sibling, Sherlock. Cavill recently explained why he wanted to come back for more as the iconic literary character and what changes we might see in Sherlock this time around.

“It’s important to get things right. It’s important to make sure the tone of things is not lost in the potential excitement of franchises and universes,” the actor said. “Sherlock enjoys it enormously, much as it frustrates him and he’s scuppered by trying to work out who on Earth it is. I think part of him enjoys actually being genuinely challenged. It isn’t boring. He’s on the back foot, and against the ropes.”

Sherlock Holmes is also expected to play a bigger role in Enola Holmes 2 when compared to its predecessor, with the sequel reportedly centering on the relationship between Enola and her elder brother as the former attempts to step out of the latter’s shadow. A task that becomes increasingly difficult when their cases overlap.

Enola Holmes 2 is scheduled to be released by Netflix on 4 November 2022.
