Brutally Hilarious Doctor Strange 2 Fan-Made Toy Pokes Fun at Reed Richards’ Demise

The introduction of Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a short and shocking affair thanks to the deadly powers of the Scarlet Witch, and now the brutal death of the leader of the Fantastic Four has been perfectly captured in a hilarious fan-made toy. In Sam Raimi’s horror-tinged Marvel movie, the arrival of an alternative universe’s version of the Illuminati was a big moment in the film, and it leads to some disturbing deaths as Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch dispatched each of the members in turn, and Reed Richard’s demise was one that has now been captured for eternity in action figure form.

In the Doctor Strange sequel, John Krasinski played Earth-838’s version of Reed Richards, a casting that many fans have wanted to see happen for some time. Whether or not this will lead to Krasinski also taking on the role as the MCU’s leader of the Fantastic Four in the upcoming movie is yet to be seen, but for Earth-838’s elastic hero things came to a sticky end when he was pulled to ribbons by the dreamwalking Wanda. This has now been captured in a “toy” sold on Etsy.

Etsy seller Suspicious Duck sold the fan-made item, which comes with its own artwork cover box as though it is a real toy release and is described as “The remnants of Reed Richards as seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” It is noted that the item is not actually a toy, and is not an authorized Marvel/Disney product, but it seems that the buyer of the item has been more than happy with their purchase.

The Fantastic Four Movie is Coming to the MCU Soon

While John Krasinski was shown to be an easily dispatched Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it is unlikely that the MCU’s version of the character will be quite as easily dispatched when the Fantastic Four make their debut sometime in the next couple of years. The question everyone wants to know now is when will the movie arrive and who will be playing Marvel’s first family.

Recently there have been plenty of rumors surrounding the casting of the Fantastic Four, with many people having their own ideas about who could and should play the roles in the third iteration of the superhero team. Whispers have suggested that Kevin Feige and his team are not looking to rush the film, and that is no surprise considering the last reboot to the franchise was critically mauled and didn’t fare much better with audiences. With the Fantastic Four now back under the control of Marvel Studios, there is a lot of anticipation to see what the MCU does with the characters.

As the Marvel multiverse continues to expand, there are many new characters to be introduced to the MCU in the coming years, and with the next ten years already being considered, there seems to be no end in sight for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that can only mean good things for those heroes in need of a new iteration after previous disappointing outings.
