It’s a family affair—Adam Sandler is bringing coming-of-age comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah for Netflix, and he’s bringing his entire family with him.
Variety reports that Sandler is set to star in the film, adapted from the Fiona Rosenbloom novel by the same name, alongside wife Jackie and teenage daughters Sunny and Sadie.
Set in the early 2000s, You are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah follows Stacey Friedman as she prepares for one of the biggest events of her young life: her bat mitzvah. As the date nears closer and everything begins going wrong, Stacey reaches her limit when she catches her best friend Lydia making out with her crush Andy, and utters the words that will upend her social life—”you are SO not invited to my bat mitzvah!”

Sandler’s Daughters are Frequent Collaborators with Famous Parents
Although they’re still young, Sadie and Sunny Sandler both girls already have an impressive list of film credits under their belt. The daughters of Sandler and actress wife Jackie (the two met on the set of Big Daddy), Sadie and Sunny often appear alongside their parents on the big screen.
The girls have made appearances in several of Sandler’s films, including You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Grown Ups, Just Go With It, and Blended; but their dad has been protective about which of his projects his daughters are included in.
“I don’t even let them see the trailer, man,” Sandler told Closer Weekly about his gritty performance as New York jeweler Howard Ratner in Uncut Gems. “I’m nervous about when they’re old enough to see this that they’re going to be disappointed in my behavior.”
